AFLW 2023 - Round 3

After a second good week on forecasting, WoSHBODS returns with its thought on nine new games, which include forecasted margins of two goals or more in all but two games. They also include three forecasted Totals of more than 100 points after Round 2’s average of just under 90 points per game.

On the wagering front we have five head-to-head bets totalling about 14% of the orignal Head-to-Head Fund, three on underdogs and two on favourites. We also have four line bets totalling just over 9% of the original Line Fund, two on underdogs, and two on favourites. Altogether, over 10% of the original Combined Portfolio is at risk.

As an interesting side note, the Head-to-Head Fund and Line Fund records this year can be broken down as per the table below.

Maybe betting head-to-head only on Home teams makes sense in AFLW, too.
