/The RSMP twins tipped all nine winners this week, and five other Head-to-Head Tipsters bagged eight, which included MoSSBODS_Marg but not MoSHBODS_Marg and left us with a tie at the top of the Leaderboard.
Both MoSHBODS_Marg and MoSSBODS_Marg are now on 140.5 from 189 (74%) with just 18 games to play, followed by Bookie Knows Best and the RSMP twins on 133.5 from 189 (71%). MoSHPlay_Marg is one tip further back.
The all-Tipster average came in at 7.9 from 9, lifting the all-Tipster all-season average to just under 70%.
The Margin Predictors’ mean absolute errors (MAEs) covered a range from Bookie_Hcap’s 25.7 points per game to ENS_Linear’s 28.0 points per game. MoSHPlay_Marg did slightly better than MoSSBODS_Marg and now trails in 2nd place by less than a point. MoSHBODS_Marg remains third, now another 31 points further back.
There only movement on the Leaderboard was in the last four positions.
The all-Predictor average came in at 26.9 points per game, which lifted the all-season all-Predictor average to 24.6 points per game.
Log probability scores were all highly positive and fairly similar this week, which left MoSSBODS_Prob in 1st, followed by MoSHBODS_Prob and then MoSHPlay_Prob.
WAGERING
Profitability this week, we now know, was contingent on the TAB accepting my wager when the Crows were being asked to give 27.5 points start, and wasn’t possible when they were being asked to give 30.5 points start.
And so, the streak of profitable weeks ends at eight.
The overall round loss for the Combined Portfolio was 1.7c, which moved it to a season-long profit of just under 46c, that from a +43% ROT on a 1.06 turn.
