The MoS twins are, once again, just a little more bearish about the likely totals in the upcoming round, but only by about 2 points per game. And, in fact, they actually expect higher scores than do the bookmakers in 3 or 4 of the games.

Round 8 saw Sportsbet record the lowest Mean Absolute Error (MAE) for Game Margins, Game Totals, Home Team Scores, and Away Team Scores.

Overall, that means that Sportsbet now has the best season-long performance on Game Margins and Game Totals, and the TAB on Home Team and Away Team Scores,

MoSSBODS lost one and won one of its unders wagers with the TAB last week, leaving it with a 14 and 17 record for the season with the TAB, and still with a 3 and 5 record for the season with Sportsbet.

MoSSBODS finished on the right side of the Totals for both bookmakers in only 4 of the 9 games, while MoSHBODS did the same in only 3 games. Across all games, MoSSBODS is now 35 from 72 (49%) against the TAB, and 34 from 72 (47%) against Sportsbet, while MoSHBODS is 34 from 72 (47%) against the TAB and 35 from 72 (49%) against Sportsbet.
