/All of the Head-to-Head Tipsters were at sixes and sevens this week, but in a good way, which left MoSSBODS_Marg still two tips clear at the top of the Leaderboard and now on 125 from 189 (66%), ahead of MoSHBODS_Marg on 123 from 189 (65%) and MoSHPlay_Marg on 121 from 189 (64%).
The irony of the MoS trio doing best of all on tipping accuracy, which is a metric I don’t really rate, is not lost on me.
Amongst the Margin Predictors, honours went to Bookie_LPSO with a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 31.9 points per game, which was enough to see them climb one spot and over MoSSBODS_Marg on the Leaderboard.
Other moves saw the Bookie_9 take top spot from Bookie_Hcap, and ENS_Linear push MoSHPlay_Marg into 9th.
The all-Predictor MAE was 33.2 points per game, leaving the season-long all-Predictor average at 26.8 points per game, which remains fairly impressive in historical terms.
Log probability scores were positive for all the Head-to-Head Probability Predictors this week, most of all for MoSSBODS_Prob and MoSHBODS_Prob, the latter of which retained 1st place on the Leaderboard ahead of MoSHPlay_Prob. MoSSBODS_Prob still sits in 3rd.
WAGERS
In the last game of the round, Fremantle ensured that Investors enjoyed a third profitable week in succession, despite the best efforts of the Overs/Unders Fund to produce the opposite result.
The overall round profit for the Combined Portfolio was 1.9c, which moved it to a season-long profit of 8.7c, that from a +7.8% ROT on a 1.12 turn.
