2018 - Round 25 Results - MoSSBODS Eyes a Podium Finish
/It was another good week for most forecasters of all forms, with all but two of the Head-to-Head Tipsters selecting both winning teams, the average mean absolute error (MAE) for the Margin Predictors coming in at 11.3 points per game, and large, positive probability scores for all of the Head-to-Head Probability Predictors.
On the Head-to-Head Tipster Leaderboard, we still have ENS_Linear two tips clear at the top and now on 146.5 from 204 (72%). It’s very hard to see it being caught by Bookie Knows Best and, likewise, difficult to see the pack behind Bookie Knows Best catching it. So, MoSHBODS_Marg and the RSMP twins would seem to be fighting it out for third place.
Amongst the Margin Predictors, Bookie_Hcap extended its lead with a best-in-class MAE of just 9 points game this week, which gives it almost an eight goal lead over Bookie_3.
MoSSBODS_Marg's 10.6 points per game MAE left it in 4th place, now about two goals clear of ENS_Linear, and 20 points behind Bookie_LPSO.
Probability Scores for the Head-to-Head Probability Predictors were, as noted earlier, all positive this week, though highest for the Bookie-based Predictors. The Leaderboard ordering remains unchanged, with Bookie-RE currently heading Bookie-OE, and Bookie-LPSO.
WAGERS
Two bets for two losses this week, one a head-to-head bet on GWS, and the other an overs bet on that same game.
In aggregate, the Combined Portfolio fell by only just under 1c to finish down by 6.2c on the season from a -3.1% ROI on about a 2.01 turn.
