MatterOfStats 2020 : Team Dashboard for Round 14
/It’s pretty extraordinary, this far into a season, to have three of the bottom five teams on Own Scoring Shot Conversion sitting somewhere in the Top 6 spots on the ladder and, even more so, for the eight best teams on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion to be sitting outside the Top 8.
But, that’s what the latest Ranking on Team Dashboard Metrics table, which appears below, shows.

Eleven teams have a percentage above 100
Port Adelaide and Richmond are the only teams to have outscored their opponents in every quarter
Adelaide, Essendon, and North Melbourne are the only teams to have been outscored by their opponents in every quarter
As a bonus table this week, I’m including the team-by-team quarter-by-quarter stats table that I’ve been Tweeting for a few weeks, which reveals that, among other things, teams have generally been converting at lower rates as games have progressed.
