/Only five early week favourites won this week, which meant that MoSHPlay_Marg’s and Consult The Ladder’s 6 from 9 was high score for the round, and Home Sweet Home’s 4 from 9 was low score.
MoSHBODS_Marg managed 5 from 9 and still retains a two tip lead over MoSSBODS_Marg and a three tip lead over ENS_Linear, RSMP_Simple and now MoSHPlay_Marg.
The all-Tipster average for the round was 5.1 from 9, which took the all-season figure to 131.6 from 198 (66%).
The Margin Predictors’ mean absolute errors (MAEs) were much higher this week, thanks largely to the surprise Eagles win, and covered a range from Bookie_9’s 29.3 points per game to MoSHBODS_Marg’s 34.0 points per game, with the all-Predictor average coming in at 31.6 points per game per Predictor, which is nine points per game higher than last week.
The only movements on the Leaderboard were MoSHBODS_Marg’s drop into 6th place, allowing Bookie_Hcap, ENS_Linear, and Bookie_9 to each climb a spot, and Bookie_3 taking 7th from MoSSBODS_Marg.
Log probability scores were all negative this week, but best for Bookie_OE and then Bookie_RE, and worst for MoSHBODS_Prob and MoSSBODS_Prob. That allowed MoSHPlay_Prob to grab 1st ahead of previous-leader MoSSBODS_Prob, and then MoSHBODS_Prob.
WAGERING
Investors had their share of good and bad fortune this week, and ended the round down by a fraction thanks mostly to a 4.5c loss by the Head-to-Head Fund.
All together, the Combined Portfolio fell by 0.4c, but is now up by 20.5c on the season, that from a 20.4% ROT on a 1.01 turn.
