/It was 1 from 2 for all the Head-to-Head Tipsters this week, which left the ordering of the Leaderboard unchanged.
The all-Tipster all-season average is now at 70%, made far lower by Home Sweet Home’s sub 60% result.
The Margin Predictors’ mean absolute errors (MAEs) covered a range from Bookie_9’s 19.2 points per game to MoSHPlay_Marg’s 28.0 points per game. MoSSBODS_Marg, at 25.4 points per game did well enough to maintain top spot and now leads MoSHPlay_Marg by just over 13 points. MoSHBODS_Marg remains third, now only another 25 points further back.
The was no movement on the Leaderboard.
The all-Predictor average came in at 22.3 points per game, which left the all-season all-Predictor average at around 24.4 points per game.
Log probability scores were all negative this week, but very much moreso for the MoS trio, and worst for MoSSBODS_Prob and MoSHBODS_Prob.. MoSSBODS_Prob remains in 1st, however, followed now by MoSHPlay_Prob and then MoSHBODS_Prob .
WAGERING
It was a fourth unprofitable week for Investors, made that way by the Dees’ failure to win and, consequently, to cover, The Pies stemmed the bleeding a little, but the initial wounds were too deep to allow for a full recovery.
The overall round loss for the Combined Portfolio was 2.8c, the second-worst for a single round all season, and moved it to a season-long profit of 40.8c, that from a +34% ROT on a 1.21 turn.
