2021 - Round 19 Results - What's Done Can Very Much Be Undone

It was a mostly uneventful week on head-to-head tipping, as the nine Head-to-Head Tipsters all scored either five or six from nine, which left MoSSBODS_Marg two tips clear atop the Leaderboard and now on 107 from 162 (66%) ahead of four other Tipsters on 105 from 162.

It was a very different story amongst the Margin Predictors, however, with mean absolute errors (MAEs) ranging from RSMP_Weighted’s low of 17.7 points per game, to MoSSBODS_Marg’s high of 26.9 points per game.

The range of results produced a great deal of movement on the Leaderboard, as shown below, including the relegation of the MoS trio into three of the bottom four places, and the elevation of the RSMP twins into 3rd and 4th spots.

The all-Predictor MAE was quite low, however, at 21.1 points per game, down by about 7.4 points per game on the previous week’s average.

Log probability scores were positive for all the bookmaker-based Head-to-Head Probability Predictors this week, but lowest for the MoS trio, which allowed Bookie_OE to rise to 2nd place on the Leaderboard, and Bookie_RE to grab 3rd spot.

WAGERS

Investors had another shocking round - the third in succession, and enough to see the last of the season’s profit to date erased.

The overall loss for the Combined Portfolio for the round was 5.7c, which moved it to a season-long loss of 0.1c, that from a -0.1% ROT on a 0.957 turn.
