2019 - Round 21 Results - Good Enough

Bookie Knows Best (BKB) preserved its one tip lead on the Head-to-Head Tipsters Leaderboard this week as the 10 Tipsters all recorded scores in the 6 to 8 from 9 range.

Best were the MoS trio, who snagged 8 from 9, though none of them sit higher than equal-third on the Leaderboard and two tips behind BKB. Worst were the 6 from 9s of Consult The Ladder and Home Sweet Home.

BKB now leads on 120 from 180 (67%).

For the Margin Predictors, with some unexpectedly large victory margins, mean absolute errors (MAEs) were quite high this week, the all-Predictor average coming in at 34.6 points per game, headed by MoSHPlay_Marg’s best of the bunch 29.3 points per game, and tailed by C_Marg’s 36.9 points per game.

MoSHPlay_Marg’s result was good enough to see it elevated above Bookie_3 and into 9th, those two one of three pairs to trade places this week.

The Top 3 Predictors remain unchanged, however, with Bookie_9 still heading the RSMP twins.

MoSHPlay_Prob also did best of all the Head-to-Head Probability Predictors this week, although all seven Predictors returned positive log probability scores. MoSHPlay_Prob remains last on the Leaderboard, while MoSSBODS_Prob holds 1st.

WAGERS

After another mixed weekend of wagering for Investors, profitability ultimately came down to the last game of the round, which eventually saw the Crows do enough to land our line bet on them and secure a small profit.

All up, the Combined Portfolio increased in value by 0.9c, breaking a two-week losing streak, to leave it priced at $1.248, this result coming now from a 15.2% ROT on a 1.63 turn of the Portfolio Funds.
