2018 - Round 16 Results - MoSSBODS Consolidates

Sydney were the only favourites to lose this week, which combined with low levels of disagreement amongst the Head-to-Head Tipsters, made for high scores. Seven of the Tipsters scored eight, and none scored lower than Home Sweet Home's six, resulting in an all-Tipster average of 7.7 from 9.

On the Leaderboard, ENS_Linear still heads Bookie_Knows_Best by a lone tip and is now on 99.5 from 135 (74%).

Best amongst the Margin Predictors' mean absolute errors (MAEs) this week was Bookie_3's 19.23 points per game, ahead of Bookie_Hcap's 19.50 and then MoSSBODS_Marg's 19.52. That left the Leaderboard unchanged but, importantly, cemented MoSSBODS_Marg's 6th place, a position in now holds over RSMP_Weighted with a lead of more than 3 goals. It also left MoSSBODS_Marg just over 60 points from the top of the Leaderboard.

There is still hope ...

The Probability Scores for all of the Head-to-Head Probability Predictors were records or near-records this week, best amongst them MoSSBODS_Prob's and Bookie_LPSO's. That consolidated MoSSBODS_Prob's 1st place on the Leaderboard and left Bookie_LPSO just behind in 2nd.

WAGERS

It was a round of two halves for Investors, with Thursday's and Friday's profits being more than offset by the weekend's losses.

Across the four days, the Head-to-Head Fund gave back almost one-third of last week's gain on a 0 and 3 performance, while the Overs/Unders Fund recorded its 6th consecutive loss with just a single collect from 4 wagers. Even the Line Fund's 3 from 5 performance wasn't quite enough to see it finish the round in the black.

As a result, the Combined Portfolio dropped 2.5c and is back into loss-making territory for the season, down by 2c from a -1.5% ROI on about a 1.36 turn.
