The Ranking on Dashboard Metrics data appears below, and shows that the MoS Win Production Function continues to output expected wins data strongly correlated with reality.

It also shows the following interesting rankings:

  • Melbourne 13th on Q2s

  • Fremantle 13th on Own Scoring Shot Conversion, 11th on Q2s, and 14th on Q3s

  • St Kilda 11th on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion, and 11th on Q1s

  • Carlton 10th to 18th on a range of metrics

  • Geelong 12th to 18th on a range of metrics

  • Hawthorn 15th on Q2s

  • Collingwood 15th on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion

  • Western Bulldogs 16th on Own Scoring Shot Conversion, and 17th on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion

  • Richmond 2nd to 5th on a range of metrics

  • Gold Coast 6th on the two Own Scoring metrics, and 6th on Q4s

  • Port Adelaide have converted only 43% of their scoring shots into goals, but allowed their opponents to convert at around 61% - a still massive 18% point differential

  • Geelong still aren’t that much better having converted at 49% but allowed their opponents to convert at 65%

  • Conversely, Sydney has converted at 64% but allowed their opponents to convert at only 49%, which is a +15% point differential

  • Fremantle are still yet to lose a Q1 or Q4

  • Melbourne are still yet to lose a Q1 or Q3

  • St Kilda are still yet to lose a Q3

  • West Coast are still yet to win a Q2

  • Carlton and Essendon are still yet to win a Q3

  • GWS and North Melbourne are still yet to win a Q4

  • Carlton have scored 66% of their points in the 1st half of games (and only 12% in Q3s)

  • Collingwood have scored only 18% of their points in Q4s

  • Fremantle, who are 3rd on the ladder, have scored no more goals than nine of the 11 teams directly below them on the ladder

  • Adelaide, in 13th, have scored only four goals fewer than Melbourne, in 1st
