MatterOfStats 2018 : Team Dashboard for Round 4

It stills feels a little early to be reading too much into the metrics on the Team Dashboard, so this week I'll constrain myself to listing, for each team, the metrics on which it is highest- and lowest-ranked.

  • Adelaide: 3rd on Q3 performances, 14th on Q1 performances
  • Brisbane Lions: 9th on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion and Q2 performances, 18th on Opponent Scoring Shot Production and Q1 performances
  • Carlton: 10th on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion, 18th on Own Scoring Shot Production
  • Collingwood: 2nd on Own Scoring Shot Conversion, 18th on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion
  • Essendon: 4th on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion, 18th on Q3 performances
  • Fremantle: 4th on Q1 performances, 16th on Q2 performances
  • Geelong: 2nd on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion, 16th on Q1 performances
  • GWS: 1st on Q4 performances and Opponent Scoring Shot Production, 13th on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion
  • Gold Coast: 3rd on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion, 17th on Q4 performances
  • Hawthorn: 2nd on Q2 performances, 13th on Q1 performances
  • Melbourne: 2nd on Q1 performances, 16th on Own Scoring Shot Conversion
  • North Melbourne: 1st on Q1 performances and Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion, 13th on Q2 performances
  • Port Adelaide: 1st on Q3 performances, 15th on Q2 performances
  • St Kilda: 5th on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion, 18th on Q2 performances and Own Scoring Shot Conversion
  • Sydney: 1st on Own Scoring Shot Conversion, 12th on Q3 performances and Own Scoring Shot Production
  • Richmond: 1st on Own Scoring Shot Production, 16th on Opponent Scoring Shot Conversion
  • West Coast: 1st on Q2 performances, 13th on Q3 performances
  • Western Bulldogs: 8th on Own Scoring Shot Production, 18th on Q4 performances

Again, there's not much we can infer based on this list, though it will be interesting to see if the teams continue to under- or over-perform on these same metrics as the season progresses.
