AFLW 2024 - Round 5 and 5.1/Week 5

Week 5 is another “round” with 11 games in it, which will require me to make regular updates here. So, again, please come back and visit often.

To begin with, here are WoSHBODS thoughts for the 9 games this week that involve every team only once. I’ll provide the forecasts for the other two games once the teams involved have played their first game of the week and I am able to update their ratings to reflect those results.

WAGERING AS AT 4:30PM FRIDAY (FINAL FOR HEAD-TO-HEAD and LINE)

Head-to-head and Line Markets are now up for the last two games of the week, and WoSHBODS wants the tiniest pieces imaginable of the two head-to-head markets, as shown in the final Ready Reckoner below.

WAGERING AS AT 7PM WEDNESDAY

Head-to-head and Line Markets are now up for the Pies v Suns, and Lions v Crows games and, of course, WoSHBODS wants a piece of most of them.

WAGERING AS AT 6PM TUESDAY

There are now head-to-head and line markets for seven of the week’s 11 games, in six of which WoSHBODS has taken an interest. The only game in which there will definitely be no head-to-head or line betting is Western Bulldogs v Sydney.

WAGERING AS AT 1:40PM TUESDAY

So far, the TAB and Sportsbet have both posted markets for tonight’s game, but only the TAB for tomorrow’s game. They have both also posted markets for five other games but, to avoid me creating an excessive number of posts, for now I’ll just advise you of what we have for tonight:

Line: 0.6% on Port Adelaide + 15.5 @ $1.90

O/U: 2.4% u72.5 @ $1.85
