AFLW 2023 - Round 7

WoSHBODS’ is again tipping two upsets this week: Hawthorn to beat Sydney, and Essendon to beat Richmond. Both are expected to be very narrow victories.

It expects:

  • Melbourne (86) to be the highest scoring team

  • Port Adelaide (13) to be the lowest scoring team

  • West Coast v Melbourne (99) to be the highest scoring game

  • Richmond v Essendon (64) to be the lowest scoring game

It also expects 5.0 home teams to win, and 7.0 favourites.

WAGERING

WoSHBODS wagering is far less profligate this week - just three head-to-head wagers (two on underdogs, and one on a favourte), and three line wagers (one on an underdog, and two on favourites)..

Altogether, the three head-to-head bets total just under 4% of the orignal Head-to-Head Fund, and the three line bets total 7% of the original Line Fund, which means that, overall, just under 6% of the original Combined Portfolio is at risk.

You can see the various impacts on the Combined Portfolio across all possible game outcomes in the Ready Reckoner below.

This week’s wagering breaks down as:
