2017 - Round 25 Results (Week 2 of the Finals) - Still MoS Everywhere
/Only Home Sweet Home and Consult The Ladder tipped both winners this week, but that had little effect on the Leaderboard for the Head-to-Head Tipsters, which still has MoSSBODS_Marg two tips clear at the top.
Mean absolute errors (MAEs) were heavily influenced by the size of the margins in each of the games, with the result that MoSSBODS_Marg's 53.7 points per game MAE proved best of all, ahead of C_Marg's 54.8. The all-Predictor MAE was 60.5 points per game per Predictor.
MoSHBODS_Marg recorded the third-best MAE and, in so doing, extended its lead at the top of the Leaderboard. It now heads RSMP_Simple by almost 15 points, and RSMP_Weighted by 18 points, the RSMP pair retaining 2nd and 3rd spots respectively.
The stability at the top of the Leaderboard was mirrored all the way down, in turns out, with none of the Margin Predictors changing places at all this week.
Amongst the Head-to-Head Probability Predictors, the only positive log probability scores belonged to the non-bookie based Predictors, the best of them MoSSBODS_Prob who nonetheless continues to sit in 5th spot ahead only of C_Prob.
MoSHBODS_Prob remains atop the Leaderboard, with Bookie_LPSO this week narrowly taking 2nd place away from Bookie_OE.
WAGERS
The rain probably helped the Cats on Friday night, which was good for Investors' head-to-head and line wagers, but less so for their overs bet.
In the end, the Cats' success meant that the Combined Portfolio rose by another 0.2%, leaving it up by 31.3% on the season from a 15.5% ROI on a 2.02 turn.
All three underlying Funds remain in profit, though the Overs/Unders Fund least of all, its losses at the back-end of the season in stark contrast to its profits at the front-end. Nonetheless its 53 and 42 record remains well ahead of chance.
