Five of the six favourites won this week, but only Bookie Knows Best recorded a score of five amongst the Head-to-Head Tipsters, which was enough to see it draw level with MoSSBODS_Marg and MoSHBODS_Marg atop the Leaderboard. Those three are now on 74 from 105 (71%).

The all-Tipster average was 4 from 6, keeping the all-Tipster all-season average to 67%.

All the Margin Predictors recorded mean absolute errors (MAEs) of under 16.5 points per game, the best being Bookie_LPSO’s 13.3 points per game, and the worst MoSHPlay_Marg’s 16.3 points per game.

That was enough to elevate Bookie_LPSO above Bookie_3 into fourth place, but also enough to see MoSHPlay_Marg remain top.

The all-Predictor average came in at a very tidy 14.5 points per game.

Log probability scores were all positive yet again this week, and all broadly similar except for MoSHPlay_Prob’s low score. That was enough to allow MoSHBODS_Prob to overtake MoSHPlay_Prob and assume top position. MoSSBODS_Prob remains in third place.

WAGERING

The Funds saw little value in the betting markets this week and, it turns out, there was none at all. All three wagers were surrendered to the bookmakers.

The overall round loss for the Combined Portfolio was just under 1c, which moved it to a season-long profit of just over 23c, that from a +37% ROT on a 0.63 turn.
