Round 9 was even better than Round 8 for the Head-to-Head Tipster, with the average score coming in at 7.1 from 9. Best were the MoS trio’s 8 from 9, and worst was Home Sweet Home’s 5 from 9. MoSSBODS_Marg’s 8 from 9 was enough to propel it back into sole leadership, now on 57 from 81 (70%), ahead of the two other MoS Tipsters and RSMP_Weighted who are all on 56 from 81 (69%).

Mean absolute error (MAE) values for the round were even lower this week, with the lowest of 15.7 points per game belonging to MoSHPlay_Marg, allowing it to climb into 4th place behind the two other MoS Predictors and Bookie_Hcap. The all-Predictor average came in at 17.2 points per game.

The Head-to-Head Probability Predictors all recorded positive log probability scores for the fifth successive week, the best coming from Bookie_RE and Bookie_LPSO, though only by a fraction. As a result, the ordering is unchanged at the top of the Leaderboard, with MoSHPlay_Prob ahead of MoSHBODS_Prob and then MoSSBODS_Prob.

WAGERS

Round 9 produced another loss for Investors, though only a small one, with two of the three constituent Funds turning a profit. In the end, the Combined Portfolio fell in value by 0.5c.

The overall profit for the Combined Portfolio is now 9.4c on the season, that from a +22% ROT on an 0.43 turn.
