A much better round for the Head-to-Head Tipsters this week, with five of them tipping the card, and all but Home Sweet Home managing at least four from five. The three MoS forecasters still sit atop the Leaderboard with MoSSBODS_Marg still in 1st and now on 82.5 from 117 (71%), ahead of MoSHBODS_Marg and MoSHPlay_Marg on 81.5 (70%), one clear of RSMP_Weighted and on 80.5 (69%).

Bookie_Hcap had quite the week amongst the Margin Predictors, returning a competition-best mean absolute error (MAE) value of 14.1 points per game, allowing it to sneak past MoSHPlay_Marg and into 3rd.

The only other movement on the Leaderboard was the position swap between RSMP_Simple and Bookie_9 for 5th and 6th.

The all-Predictor MAE was 16.2 points per game, down about 12 points per game on last week’s average.

It was also a good week for the Head-to-Head Probability Predictors, with all of them returning to their habit of registering positive log probability scores. Best amongst them were Bookie_RE and Bookie_LPSO, but the MoS trio did well enough to retain the top three spots, with MoSHPlay_Prob grabbing 1st from MoSHBODS_Prob, and MoSSBODS_Prob holding onto 3rd spot.

WAGERS

A small loss for Investors in Round 14 after a disappointing showing by the Suns more than wiped out the previous day’s profit from the Dogs.

The overall loss for the Combined Portfolio for the round was 0.4c, which moved it to a season-long profit of 11c, that from a +17.5% ROT on an 0.63 turn.
