Even the best of the Head-to-Head Tipsters this week managed to do no better than coin-tossing, and that with the freebie half-tip for the drawn game. At the end of it all, though, the three MoS forecasters still sit atop the Leaderboard with MoSSBODS_Marg still in 1st and now on 78.5 from 112 (70%), ahead of MoSHBODS_Marg on 77.5 (69%), and MoSHPlay_Marg, now one clear of RSMP_Weighted and on 76.5 (68%).

The MoS trio also still hold the top three places amongst the Margin Predictors, with the week’s best mean absolute error (MAE) value of 2638 points per game belonging to MoSSBODS_Marg, who remains in 2nd, but now with a comfortable 5 goal lead over MoSHPlay_Marg.

The only movement on the Leaderboard was Bookie_9, up three spots into 5th.

The all-Predictor MAE was 28.3 points per game, up almost 10 points per game on last week’s average.

The streak of eight successive weeks of positive log probability scores for the Head-to-Head Probability Predictors was comprehensively ended with all six registering negative scores. Best amongst them was MoSSBODS_Prob ahead of MoSHBODS_Prob. The MoS trio did well enough to retain the top three spots, with MoSHBODS_Prob now in 1st ahead of MoSHPlay_Prob, and then MoSSBODS_Prob.

WAGERS

The Eagles’ late, and arguably fortuitous, victory was enough to secure a small profit for Investors in a very quiet Round 13.

The overall profit for the Combined Portfolio for the round was 0.6c, which moved it to a season-long profit of 11.4c, that from a +19.5% ROT on an 0.58 turn.
