There are a number of quite sizeable differences between the MoS twins’ and the bookmakers’ forecasts, but that’s at least partly due to the expectation of rain.

WAGERS

So far, just the one wager for Investors, an unders bet in the Saints v Cats game. In four other games, MoSSBODS likes the overs, but in all four of them rain is forecast so there is no bet.

In Round 10, the TAB had an outstanding performance, recording best Mean Absolute Error (MAE) for Game Margins, Home Team Scores, Away Team Scores, and Game Totals.

MoSHBODS did better than MoSSBODS in forecasting Away Team Scores, which allowed it to take the season-long record for this measure, leaving MoSSBODS to lead on Game Margins and Home Team Scores. Easybet still leads on Game Totals.

In the game where we had our lone wager, MoSSBODS went 1 and 0 against Easybet, leaving it with a season-long 55% success rate against them. It remains with a season-long 62% success rate against the TAB.

Across all games, MoSSBODS and MoSHBODS are now 45 from 87 (52%) against the TAB, and 46 from 87 (53%) against Easybet.
